Leading UK Manufacturing and processing operation is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to support engineering best practice, machine efficiency and safe and effective maintenance within a thriving process plant in the West Midlands. The role is permanent and offers excellent progression.
The Role
Supporting efficient and reliable manufacturing processes within a large and continuous production operation, the Engineering Manager will lead both planned preventative maintenance activity and support for new process installations. The Engineering Manager will provide expert guidance to the maintenance teams on complex machinery issues and ensure safe working at all times in a busy processing facility. Whilst this is a Day Shift based position, the production operation runs 24/7 and as such there is a level of expectation to offer managerial visibility across the different shift patterns.
The Person
The successful applicant will ideally possessed a time-served maintenance engineering background and excellent leadership skills developed within a fast-paced production operation using large and high value capital equipment. The Engineering Manager will be highly conversant with planned preventative maintenance, OEE monitoring and improvement and root cause problem solving. The Engineering Manager role is site-based and offers excellent progression and development within an international group.
