This opportunity is working for a world class tier 1 manufacturer supplying major OEMs worldwide. They are seeking an Engineering Production Manager to join their team, to provide strong leadership of the engineering department.
The Role
Your main responsibility will be to provide strong and competent leadership of the engineering, production, manufacturing and maintenance department. You will manage projects in a cost effective and timely manner, ensuring departmental KPI`s are achieved. Ensuring change management is controlled, documented and delivered correctly. You will improve processes efficiency through means of continuous improvement and 5S standards and supporting Six Sigma projects. Responsible for factory layout updates, adherence to TPM schedules and Maximise OEE performance.
The Person
You will qualified to degree level in an engineering disciple or equivalent area with a minimum of 5 years` experience in the role or equivalent in automotive or manufacturing. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of primary manufacturing processes and assembly methods and a knowledge of primary manufacturing processes and assembly methods. Also a knowledge of recognised automotive documentation and processes including APQP.
