A fast-growing, profitable manufacturing business that has been established for a number of years.
Your new role
Due to their forecasted growth, they are looking to appoint an ambitious finance professional to join the leadership team as Finance Director. In this position you would be covering all financial controls, reviewing, proposing and implementing changes to the finance structure, processes and systems to support the business growth and working alongside the Managing Director to support them in the strategic development of the company.
What you’ll need to succeed
The successful person will have a demonstrable background in financial controls ideally working in a manufacturing business. They will be an effective leader with concise and considerate communication skills and the ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders productively. They will be highly analytical with an investigative, proactive nature and an enthusiasm and passion to learn and to support a business going through change. You will ideally be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone who would be interested in working towards a general management role. It is essential that the person lives locally and can therefore get to the site at short notice.
