Your new role
They are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to join their Management Team, due to the current incumbent retiring. In this role, you would be responsible for managing the accounts team of two covering all transactional accounting, monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting (including management accounts), nominal ledger, VAT & Intrastat returns, payroll, pension scheme, job costing, production statistical analysis, budgeting & forecasting, asset register, Company insurances and expenses.
What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal person will be fully CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified with a proven track record working in the manufacturing sector in a similar capacity. With strong people management capabilities, you will also be able to demonstrate recent experience in managing the financial controls for a business of small to medium size. The successful applicant will need to have a very flexible approach and be willing to embrace the challenges demanded by a thriving company. Above all, they are interested in hearing from people who are willing to ‘have a go’, influence the future development of the business and who are prepared to give the commitment needed to be successful in a customer-driven profitable environment.
