We have been instructed to assist in the search and recruitment of an exceptional General Manager for this forward thinking, specialist controls and automation manufacturing business.
Due to the continued success of this company, an award-winning provider of strategic outsourcing solutions to many of the most successful and respected machinery builder’s worldwide in the Walsall area, requires a highly motivated and commercially driven General Manager to develop, grow and dynamically run a new business unit.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will have full control, including p/l accountability for this new business unit, manufacturing, bespoke, one off solutions to clients across the UK, Europe and beyond.
You will be a charismatic leader and have the personality to develop a successful and market leading business using the strong reputation of the organisation around you, creating a new team and vision to deliver growth year on year.
It is essential you come from the controls and automation sector at a senior level, be it a business unit leader or manager. You will be ready to take your next career step into a standalone, senior leadership role. You will have superb knowledge of continuous improvement and up to date methodologies acquired in a fast paced, complex manufacturing environment.
It is a given that you will be commercially and financially astute, understanding costs and are always focused on delivering results and presenting financial expectations to the senior directors of the business.
We are keen to talk to strong candidates from the controls and automation sector, and it is essential you have proven knowledge of electrical and electronic manufacturing, experience of managing a business unit, have strong customer facing and project management skills.
