Jonathan Lee Recruitment has been retained to lead a search and selection process to identify a talented and ambitious Head of Finance (No.1 in Finance) for a permanent position with a fast growth FMCG firm based in Evesham, Worcestershire. Reporting to the Managing Director, we are looking for a Qualified Accountant with extensive Finance Manager / Senior Finance Manager level experience gained within SME firms and who is looking to make a step up to No.1 in Finance.
It is highly desirable that you trained as a Chartered Accountant, but we will also consider Qualified ACCA/CIMA applicants. This position will pay a salary in the range of £55,000 to £70,000 + pension and bonus.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Finance will manage a small finance team and be responsible for managing the finances of the group of companies. This is a Board level position in a growing and acquisitive business, where you will be Company Secretary from the outset and given a development plan to progress to Finance Director. You will need to be fully hands on with the financial and management accounting, as well as leading the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting process. Knowledge of stock accounting and imports and exports would be beneficial.
You’ll be supported by an experienced Management Accountant, as well as a small transactional finance team. Undoubtedly the finance team will grow as the company continues to go through their steep growth trajectory.
Finally, we are looking for someone with a commercial mindset, to support the Managing Director strategically, advising on business drivers and giving financial insight to help shape the future direction of the Business.
