Our client, a highly successful, award winning FMCG business, based close to Brigg, North Lincolnshire, commutable from Leeds, Sheffield, Lincoln and Hull, is looking to recruit to the post of ‘Head of Finance’.
Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for providing robust financial advice and support to enable Directors and Managers to make key business decisions and find ways of improving business performance. Leading a small finance team, you will be accountable for statutory reporting, treasury, budgeting and forecasting, costing, cash-flow forecasting, IT strategy, payroll and corporate governance.
What you’ll need to succeed
You must be a professionally qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, ICAS) with broad ranging accountancy experience within the manufacturing sector. As an accomplished staff manager with a track record in leading and managing successful finance teams, you must be able to deliver financial information and reports to strict deadlines. You will be an effective communicator, not afraid to challenge the status quo and be driven by looking at new ways of developing and using systems to improve efficiencies.
