Your new company
A market leading manufacturer based in Stonehouse are now looking to employ a Head of Operations to join their expanding manufacturing team. This is a newly created position due to a sustained period of growth.
Your new role
As the Head of Operations, you’ll be reporting into the Managing Director with 7 direct reports. In total, you will have overall accountability for around 250 colleagues across various disciplines. You will be expected to lead a Health and Safety-first environment, as the new Head of Operations will be instrumental in developing new processes, improving upon ways of working and driving total production output. Within this Head of Operations role, you will also be expected to drive cost reduction exercises and work closely with the finance team to set and achieve your budgets across the operating units.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in your application, you must have proven working experience within a Factory Manager, Head of Operations, Head of Manufacturing or another similar level role. You must have worked in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and ideally, you’ll have a professional qualification in Lean / 6 Sigma. You must be customer focused and operate as a visible manager with a large volume of on the job coaching opportunities available.
