An innovative Tier 1 supplier requires a Head of PMO to take responsibility for the delivery of projects to key customers. The Head of PMO, based in South UK, will create and implement best practice programme management vision, strategy, policies, process and procedures including:
• Provide resource and capability assessments with respect to current and potential future projects/programmes
• Identify and report on all key programme level risks and mitigating actions
• Ensure programme and project reviews are regularly and effectively conducted
• Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility
The Head of PMO will be degree qualified with proven experience of the creation and implementation of PMO services within a manufacturing and/or automotive environment including:
• Experience of managing complex cross-functional programmes with significant business and commercial risk
• Experienced in ‘hi-tech’ product development, trial and launch phases
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong time management, presentation & negotiation skills
