A large food manufacturer is looking for a Health & Safety Manager to lead and develop health & safety across the site. You`ll be passionate about health & safety within manufacturing with a strong personality to implement and train people across a busy food manufacturing site.
The Role
As the Health & Safety Manager, you`ll be responsible for leading, developing and ensuring health & safety is followed and understood throughout on-site.
Conducting induction to all new starters and refresher course for staff members.
Being visible on the production floor to identify and support Line Managers on potential health & safety risks.
Championing environmental health & Safety practices across all sites.
Leading and managing regular health & safety meeting across each site.
The Person
To be considered for the Health & Safety Manager role, you must hold ISOH or NEBOSH qualifications and have experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing covering Health & Safety.
Excellent knowledge of health & safety guidelines and requirements for a manufacturing facility.
Confident in implementing change and challenging individuals on health & safety.
Ability to set and offering training on Health & Safety.
Strong Microsoft Officer skills.
