Job Description
Key responsibilities:
• Lead on the delivery of all operational HR ensuring alignment to the wider business strategy, as well as to the UK&I HR priorities and KPIs
• Work with key stakeholders to implement transformational projects
• Lead on quarterly talent reviews and succession planning meetings, in collaboration with the Talent and Development Team
• Work with people managers to identify learning and development requirements
• Work in partnership with key stakeholders to develop and deliver key HR practices and processes
• Oversee employee relations and union matters, working in partnership with the HR Advisory team to mitigate business risk
• Support and coach managers in discussions relating to job evaluation, pay and reward
• Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Team to provide an excellent recruitment service
• Champion and be proficient in using HR self-service tools
• Use people data to identify relevant and actionable insights that identify or address challenges
The Successful Applicant
• Experienced HR Manager or Business Partner and comfortable leading on both strategic and operational projects
• Experience of working with unions
• Comfortable working in a large-scale organisation with existing structure and processes
• Experience of partnering with people managers in a generalist HR role
• Excellent track record of building strong professional relationships across all levels of the organisation
• Excellent working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice HR
• Experience of delivery HR strategy and activities within a complex business environment
• Experience of delivering innovative, creative and tailored HR solutions
What’s on Offer
