A global manufacturer with multiple UK operations is currently recruiting a HR Manager. You will be responsible for all site HR operations and have experience of cultural and change management within a fast-paced environment.
As HR Manager you will manage the HR department and all related issues for the sites. Key functions of the role will include succession planning, executive coaching of leaders relating to HR, ensuring legislative compliance, reward programs, induction/exit processes, recruitment, pensions and providing HR Advisory services.
Key responsibilities will include:
Coaching of the Leadership Team & Managers relating to HR policies
Succession planning for talent and mentoring to provide effective leadership
Provide HR Advisory services
Review and update company policies in line with current legislation
Ensure grievances are dealt with effectively
Work with trade union representatives
Managing HR Budgets
Develop an effective employee engagement strategy
Develop and lead the HR team
The successful candidate will have previous HR management experience gained within a fast paced industrial, manufacturing, engineering or similar environment. You will have a strong understanding in employment law, continuous improvement and employee engagement. Experience working for a large organisation would be advantageous but not essential.
