Are you an experienced HR professional looking for your next opportunity to work as a HR Manager for a reputable food manufacturing business?
Our client is looking for a HR Generalist, with previous experience in a stand-alone role, to be responsible for the following:
• Managing Employee Relations cases, including grievances, disciplinaries, absence management and capability investigations;
• Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees;
• Maintain relationships with Unions in line with agreements;
• Provide support and guidance in developing employee engagement initiatives;
• Manage the recruitment and selection process and play an integral role in supporting senior management in the recruitment of skilled and senior hires;
• Review and develop organisation-wide induction plans;
• Manage the internal and external job evaluation process, develop robust job descriptions and accountabilities by function and job-level;
• Utilise the job evaluation process to assist in remuneration planning;
• Provide timely and accurate management information on operational aspects of HR as required;
• Develop and embed HR service level agreements where agreed;
• Comply with Data Protection and GDPR to ensure the security of employee information;
• Other duties as required.
The Candidate
You will have proven experience within HR, preferably at least 1 year at Management level, as well as:
• CIPD qualified (ideal);
• Knowledge of relevant HR policies, processes and best practise;
• Sound knowledge of the UK Employment law;
• Proven experience within Employee Relations;
• Proven experience of developing and streamlining processes and identifying areas for process improvement;
• An understanding of manufacturing/supply chain practises;
• Ability to work autonomously and flexible in approach;
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
The Package
• Between £33,000 and £36,000 per annum, pro rata for reduced hours;
• Part-time position: Up to 30hrs per week;
