Your new company
A global manufacturer/assembler of household products based in Liverpool with a turnover of almost £150 million. The company make 85% of their global products here in the UK with no plans to change this. The company employ over 1000 employees and occupy a large manufacturing unit on the outskirts of Liverpool. Excellent order levels moving forward with a highly reputable product portfolio.
Your new role
As HSE manager you will report directly into the factory manager with two reports directly reporting to you. You will help to drive a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across the group. You will be responsible for the deign and implementation of the HSE strategy and improvement plan. The position will be very varied and will include everything from RAMS through to accident investigation. You will be targeted on improving HSE related KPI’s and will be rewarded with a 10% bonus upon achievement. You will also be the main POC for external bodies such as HSE and Environment Agency.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have 5 years or more management experience within a manufacturing setting, ideally somewhere that is heavily involved in CNC machinery and hydraulic presses. You will have experience leading HSE on a strategic level, be educated to diploma level and ideally hold some form of environmental training or qualification.
