A global food ingredients business based in Banbury has a Health, Safety & Environment Manager, to lead and develop health, safety and environmental functions for the Banbury site. This full-time, permanent role will suit someone with leadership and coaching experience.
The Role
• Provide guidance and coaching to successfully implement the company HSE strategy
• Continuously check the strategy and support site priorities and objectives
• Ensure the HSE management system is certified to ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards
• Drive innovative thinking, continually developing capability through training and coaching activities
• Empower managers and teams to take ownership of HSE agenda
• Ensure compliance is regularly audited, with an ‘always audit ready’ mindset
• Develop an authentic and open communication channel across all departments
• Engage with external stakeholders such as regulatory bodies and academia, playing a key role in the benchmarking of company progress
The Candidate
• A Degree or relevant qualification in a relatable field, and a NEBOSH Diploma
• Previous experience in an FMCG, food, or R&D environment would be advantageous
• You will have detailed knowledge of the requirements of ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards
• Have experience of leading internal audits and liaise with external regulatory bodies
• Health, safety and environmental experience within a production or manufacturing environment
