Due to continued growth and the award of new programmes, a leading technology company has a new vacancy for an HR Manager to join its rapidly growing team. An experienced Senior HR Professional, you will be responsible for the day-to-day HR operations, setting up new systems, policies and implementing HR processes.
You will be responsible for the delivery of HR strategy and handling HR related issues for the site. Key functions of the role will include employee relations, reorganisation, coaching of leaders relating to HR, ensuring legislative compliance, absence management, recruitment, exit processes and other general duties.
Key responsibilities will include:
Provide advice and guidance in handling complex employee relations cases
Partner management team to influence decisions, and manage organisational and cultural change
Support and drive development of talent and succession planning.
Manage the recruitment process of all internal and external personnel in conjunction with department heads
Develop the company HR policies and systems
Enable managers to become confident and equipped to take responsibility for their employees and empower their teams.
Be a credible member of the Leadership Team and play a key role in taking the site forward and improving performance
Develop career maps and development routes that are transparent and clear for key roles
Succession planning for talent and mentoring to provide effective leadership
The successful candidate will have previous HR management experience ideally gained within a fast paced industrial, manufacturing, technology, engineering, or similar environment. You will have a strong understanding of employment law and previous experience setting up new policies and processes from scratch.
