A leading manufacturer of complex assemblies has a new vacancy for a HR Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for leading all HR functions including employee engagement, performance management, recruitment, payroll and implementing HR policies across the business. You must have a relevant HR qualification and ideally will have worked in a fast paced environment (manufacturing, distribution, engineering).

The Role

Supporting and mentoring managers with all aspects of people management and advising them on HR policies.

Supporting and managing any ER-related issues, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation.

Facilitating the appraisal process and ensuring that all training and development needs are met for all employees.

Supporting progressive organizational change and ensuing effective employee communication.

Developing robust induction, recognition, and retention activities and supporting associated projects.

Managing the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring Conducting salary reviews as part of the annual pay review process and ensuring reward and recognition plans are attractive and competitive.

Organising long service recognition and employee incentive schemes.

Using monthly HR data and statistics to analyze and support business decisions.

Coordinate with Finance Team who manage the outsourced Payroll processes.

Managing end-to-end processes and driving continuous improvement to give a great customer experience and improve efficiency.

The Candidate

Previous experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

A proven track record of building strong relationships across all levels of a business.

Level 3 or above qualification in Human Resource Management.

Competent knowledge of UK employment law.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to problem solve and take learnings from every challenge.

Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
