A globally recognised manufacturer of precision components with multiple UK operations supplying high technology sectors has a new vacancy for an IT Manager. An experienced Senior IT Professional you will be responsible for all IT helpdesk, Infrastructure, Systems development and Management Information activities and must have worked within a fast-paced environment such as manufacturing or distribution.
The Role
Reporting to IT Director, you will be tasked with managing the UK IT team and ensuring upkeep and compliance of all IT Systems and functions.
Key responsibilities:
Project managing installation of new systems, IT equipment and processes
Implement and improve IT Policies and Procedures in line with Corporate and Divisional Objectives.
Manage UK IT budgets
Act as main point of contact for any IT issues.
Lead, develop and coordinate the UK IT Team by ensuring a proactive approach is taken
Recommend IT Solutions in line with business needs
Upgrading, testing and maintenance of equipment and applications
Plan and Support implementation of improvements
Monitoring and Managing back-ups and disaster recovery development
Ensure IT Systems are secure and reliable
The Candidate
An experienced senior IT professional you will have strong leadership skills and will have worked in a fast paced environment such as manufacturing or distribution.
You will have managed complex ERP systems and have worked in a corporate environment.
With excellent communication skills you will be a self-starter and be able to prioritise your own work.
