A global engineering company supplying complex assemblies is currently recruiting a Maintenance Manager. An experienced maintenance professional you will be comfortable leading a multi-disciplined team within fast paced manufacturing.
The Role
You will responsible for leading a multiskilled maintenance team ensuring downtime of machinery is kept to a minimum. The role also focuses on continually improving the reliability of key machines by taking a proactive approach to preventative maintenance activities and process improvements.
Key responsibilities
Plan & control the work for a team of multi skilled Maintenance Engineers on a day to day basis
Implement and control the preventive maintenance plan
To continuously improve machines and services to increase efficiency
Give technical direction and support to the Maintenance Engineers
Develop and manage a TPM schedule
Managing Maintenance budgets effectively
Lead and communicate actions and status on a daily basis within the production meeting
The Candidate
With a background in Maintenance you must have proven experience of leading a team within a complex manufacturing environment, preferably heavy engineering. With a good understanding of best practice, you will have excellent people skills with the ability to get the best out of a team.
