Working within a state of the art Automotive Tier One organisation with significant investment, they now seek to appoint a Maintenance Supervisor to direct lead and co-ordinate the Maintenance department. The successful candidate will have a solid electrical and mechanical background with ideally robotics and controls engineering exposure.
The Role
As Maintenance Supervisor you will control all of the activities of the Maintenance department, relating to plant machinery and legislative requirements, whilst ensuring and maintaining maximum efficiency of the department at minimum cost. Through allocation and control of sufficient resources of labour and skills, you will manage a maintenance budget and support departments requirement for capital expenditure.
The Person
Preferably, the successful Maintenance Supervisor will be highly flexible with a solid electrical and mechanical engineering background. Ideally past exposure to robotic and controls engineering will be favourable, with an associated qualification and experience within this remit. A problem solver and quick to attain solutions for the plant to run as efficiently as possible, you will have a demonstrable track record of a similar role within a high volume, fast paced environment. Any past exposure to paint and injection mould would be highly advantageous.
