Our client, an SME business, design, manufacture and assemble a range of mechanical products and consumables to the industrial and construction markets. They sell globally and in certain product lines are a global market leader. Known for their innovation which reduces cost and improves safety, they have positioned themselves with supply chain solutions and a keen customer focus.
To continue their success story, they are now seeking to appoint an MD who will focus the growth around developing a continual pipeline of new and innovative new products that satisfies customer requirements and needs. The successful candidate will also drive the bottom line through seeking out and implementing improvements throughout the business, from transactional systems to operations and supply chain.
The successful candidate is likely to have a background in NPD, NPI or R and D. Ideally a mechanical engineering graduate you will have experience of revenue growth through innovation and margin growth through improvement. You are likely to be a gregarious individual who likes to impart knowledge and best practice in a team environment.
