Your new company
Currently, I’m working closely with a manufacturing company who is specialised in food products. The company is looking for a new business partner who is taking the lead on FP&A and deliver insight that links financial reports to strategies of the business domain. They are looking for someone who has a background in a commercial role with the analytical skills to turn data into strategic insight and bring the numbers to life.
Your new role
• Prepare clear and concise commentary for the business domain
• Monitor and communicate risks and opportunities to relevant stakeholders
• Deep-dive into data and work with the managing director to come up with KPI`s to monitor the business performance and drive behaviour
• Provide analysis and deliver insight that links financial reports to strategies of the business domain
• Take the lead on FP&A for the business domain and support the Head of FP&A on ad hoc requests for the division, including yearly budget presentations updates and strategic reports
• Acts as a business partner for the business domain and become embedded in the decision-making process by supporting, scenario-testing and advising on strategic decisions
What you’ll need to succeed
• Newly ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified (2018, 2019 or finalist)
• Experience in a commercial role, preference in the Manufacturing industry
• Ability to bring the numbers to life
• Great analytical skills
• Excellent Excel skills
• Ability to handle big data and be able to develop templates that are suitable for financial and non-financial users
