Your new role
This position is a key role within the leadership team, and will lead manufacturing across multiple facilities. You will collaborate with leadership in other departments to coordinate planning in line with customer demands, optimising production planning and capacity, setting production goals, and driving continuous improvement activities that will positively impact all relevant metrics.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be proven in a similar position, experience in medical devices, pharmaceutical or other diagnostics related manufacturing business is an advantage (but not essential) eg ISO 13485, GMP, cGMP. You will enjoy being a figurehead within the business, someone who can create and deliver strategic objectives, as well as solve tactical issues as they occur.
You will use facts and data to inform your decisions, and also have strong operational instincts that enable good decisions to be taken in a timely manner when needed. You will be accustomed to working with technical departments to implement new manufacturing projects, processes or facilities, and have a positive attitude to change. You will enjoy customer and supplier facing responsibilities, and working closely with Supply Chain leadership to ensure business needs are met. Ideally you will have experience of ERP implementation or change (use of recognised ERP eg Sage 200, SAP, Oracle etc is an advantage).
