Job Description
The ideal Manufacturing Director will be responsible for:
• To assure productivity improvement is embedded in the culture and delivering YOY improvement in all critical operational areas of activity.
• Create a culture of continuous improvement ensuring all employees are involved and engaged
• Ensure a high performing organisation by playing an active part in talent development and succession planning
• Identify and provide feedback through 1:1s, effective use of personal development plans and coaching opportunities
• Set high standards and accountability for ongoing excellence, communicating those standards clearly and ensuring the department is held accountable to those
• Build action plans and set goals for the team to ensure the site delivers its commitments
• Identify performance and conduct issues speedily and create improvement plans/ implement actions to ensure these are addressed and resolved Driving for Results
• Manage the and achieve in KPIs
• Create and execute the production resource plan to provide excellent service to all customers whilst optimising total delivered costs, cash and supply chain time
• Set the highest standard of quality assurance for all products as delivered to our consumers by engaging the site’s 6-sigma efforts
• Ensure GMP compliance, manage deviation investigation in order to maintain the facility, systems and processes in continuous inspection readiness state
• Champion waste elimination across all touchpoints of your supply chain such that both manufacturing and distribution costs reduce year-on-year.
• Management of the operations payroll budget and relevant activities, including analysis of the time clock system, to ensure the correct payroll data is approved each month for processing
• Design and create change strategies and projects, along with delivering Coty created change strategies, leading and engaging the team to ensure successful implementation

The successful candidate will have experience in:
• Managing and leading the manufacturing of a large FMCG factory
• Lean six sigma qualification
• Budget management experience
• Excellent at developing a team
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
