An outstanding opportunity to join an organisation whose turnover has more than tripled over the last 4 years, now require a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to ensure the successful introduction of new processes, equipment and tooling. Preferably you will have worked in Automotive Tier One overseeing tooling, jigs, fixtures and general Manufacturing Engineering activities.
The Role
Reporting in to the Site Manager you will oversee all aspects relating to tooling, jigs, fixtures, together with Manufacturing Engineering activities. You will be responsible for recruitment, development, coaching, assessment and ultimately the performance within the team. You will play a key role in feasibility and enquiry process, whilst defining the tool operation sequence with associated jig and fixture requirements. Providing leadership in the completion of equipment reviews on prospective new plant and layout changes
The Person
Academically proven (Business / Engineering Degree / Manufacturing preferred) and intellectually robust, will have a strong background in NPI Engineering with rounded knowledge of multiple disciplines, such as logistics, materials, manufacturing and quality. As a talented Leader with established new product launch experience you will possess a track record of delivering results, meeting ambitious targets, and driving world class performance from within ideally Automotive Tier One or a fast-moving manufacturing arena. Energetic, motivational and a proven `hands on` leader you will be responsible for shaping the overall culture of the business.
