We are seeking to recruit a Manufacturing Manager to join a highly successful, long-established Belfast based manufacturing firm that specialises in 3D Printing and additive manufacturing. Our client is a truly unique business that uses innovative manufacturing processes and techniques.
Your new role
Reporting the Engineering Director the new Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for ensuring all workshops activities run as effectively and efficiently as possible. You will plan and coordinate the manufacturing process to meet production targets. You will closely with production staff to drive KPIs and ensure targets are achieved, in addition, you will work closely with sales to ensure customer requirements are met. An understanding and aptitude for deploying Lean Manufacturing tools is key to reducing waste and working in a cost-effective manner. In this business-critical role, you will organise maintenance activities and monitor quality standards.
What you’ll need to succeed
To prove a success in securing this role you should be coming with a Degree or HNC/D in an Engineering related subject and have previous experience in a similar role. You should have previously managed production teams, have strong problem-solving capabilities and excellent communication skills. You should have excellent customer management skills and have worked to ISO9001 quality standards.
