Your new role
The primary responsibilities of this role are to develop and manage a newly formed manufacturing planning team. Working alongside senior team members, you will contribute to the creation and delivery of the manufacturing supply chain strategy. With a focus on end to end planning cycle, you will act as a strategic and cultural lead for the department focusing on process improvement and performance of the manufacturing supply chain. This includes the development of new tools, processes and responsibility to define KPI’s.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have a track record of achievement in supply chain management within manufacturing including a strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning & Forecasting principles plus experience / exposure to Purchasing & Logistics functions. Able to influence and drive change you will be able to demonstrate good analytical, decision making and presentation skills plus the ability to plan and prioritise work to meet strategic goals. Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent is also beneficial if you have previous experience of using SAP.
What you’ll get in return
You will receive a salary of £50,000 – £55,000 dependant on experience plus benefits.
