An agile product development organisation that is going through a period of growth is currently recruiting an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee its site in the North East
Your new role
The Operations Site Manager will be responsible for managing the team to ensure all progress is measured and targets are achieved in terms of output, stock management and budget in line with the group goals and procedures
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
• Oversee planning and co-ordination of resource, including equipment and employers on site
• Line management responsibility for Senior staff including conducting appraisals, managing performance and providing objectives/personal development plans for line reports
• Set production goals and timelines in line with the business needs
• Evaluate performance and productivity and hold your team to account on set targets and sales order fulfilment by monitoring KPIs.
• Drive and support strategic improvements to maximise efficiency and effectiveness of output and capability
• Promote effective collaborative working across all site departments by creating a productive, professional and supportive environment for all staff
• Encourage a culture of excellence.
• Promote personal development, ownership and teamwork
• Ensure group policies are implemented and adhered to
• Ensure and enforce compliance with Health and Safety and regulatory standards
• Lead communication for the site
• Analyse accounting and financial data. Create and manage budgets and purchasing forecasts
• Manage the implementation of new manufacturing projects or facilities
