Due to continued growth and expansion a world leading manufacturer of precision components and assemblies is now looking to appoint an Operations Manager. With proven operational leadership skills, you will have previous experience working in fast-paced manufacturing/engineering and be committed to driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency,
The Role
Part of Senior Management, the role will be responsible for all operations functions in order to achieve build plans, targets and customer delivery. This will be achieved through the direction and supervision of a team of managers in each area such as Production, Facilities, Process Improvement etc.
You will lead a site wide manufacturing team to ensure that production and productivity targets are met, EHS standards are maintained, maintenance of key plant is to a high quality, control and discipline standards are high, all employee training requirements are fulfilled and standards are maintained.
You will develop a culture of continuous improvement through the utilisation of Lean Manufacturing tools to coach, lead and manage employees to embrace the culture of never-ending improvement in safety, productivity, quality, cost and delivery.
The Candidate
Candidates must have operations management experience working in a complex manufacturing / engineering environment with a demonstrable track record of achieving results & managing change. Committed to business improvement and growth you will be capable of managing, developing and implementing strategy for manufacturing operations to meet agreed performance plans within agreed budgets.
