Hays Manufacturing Operations is working in partnership with a leading food manufacturing company to appoint an experienced and successful Operations Manager based in Co. Armagh
Your new role
You will be responsible for contributing to the achievement of the company’s strategic and operational targets and overall business aims. This role carries direct managerial responsibility for production technical, NPD, dispatch, Supply chain and transport. You will optimise site and business performances through driving best practices and developing the management team. The post -holder will set and manage departmental KPI’s control all associated operational and manufacturing costs according to the annual budgets.
What you’ll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have previous experience working at a senior strategic level within the FMCG industry and proven ability driving continuous improvements through KPI’s, best practice and performance management. You will implement and promote a lean culture and have expertise in lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma.
You will demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines whilst ensuring accuracy and attention to details and have a proven ability to grow revenue, margins.
