Your new role
As Operations Manager you will plan, direct and coordinate all the organisation’s operations. You will be responsible for improving performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. You will have additional responsibility for ensuring that all operations are carried out in a cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements. You will continually review and improve operational systems, processes and best practices.
Ensure that operational standards are continually met, across all operational activities and functions. Schedule, coordinate and plan resource requirements across operations based on the production plan. You will define what the capabilities of the manufacturing facility are with respect to cost targets, delivery targets, quality targets, output quantities and packaging options.
What you’ll need to succeed
Ideally you will be a motivated and passionate individual with a strong track record of developing and building high performing teams. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skill with an ability to manage staff and take responsibility for their performance. A high level of commercial awareness and business acumen. Excellent negotiation skills and an ability to foster an environment of teamwork ensuring that all products are delivered on time and company goals are met.
