Our client, a successful specialist manufacturing business is seeking an Operations Manager for their site based in Crewe.
Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director you will manage all aspects of work in progress within purchasing, warehousing, production, delivery and customer service. You will provide service reports to ensure that efficiencies and SLAs are met in line with business requirements. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to maximise customer satisfaction and support continued growth. You will manage, motivate and develop team members, ensure the office is maintained and that health and safety requirements are met.
What you’ll need to succeed
We need a proven Operations Manager, ideally from a manufacturing business who can promote a ‘can-do’ culture and maintain an exceptional level of customer service. You will be confident leading and developing a team, have experience within order processing, purchasing and a general understanding of best practice within a manufacturing environment. You will work with both internal and external stakeholders therefore communication and negotiation skills are a must, along with a high level knowledge of the SAP operating system.
