With a number factories dotted around Europe they now have a requirement for a Senior Operations Manager / Operations Director at their Head Quarters in Co. Tyrone
Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director the Operations Manager/Director will manage team performance through appraisals, PDP’s, training & mentoring in line with Company policy and procedures. You will be responsible for running a fast-paced & high-tempo production unit, manufacturing high quality products in a safe manner to deliver the required levels of operational performance and ensuring manufacturing excellence, increased production volumes, profit enhancement and world class customer service. You will be hands-on, visible & approachable in all that you do, taking full ownership and providing outstanding leadership on a daily basis to your direct reports within; manufacturing, H&S, quality, production planning and logistics functions. You will be responsible for implementing appropriate manufacturing techniques (such as 5S, TPM, and other lean manufacturing practices) for improving productivity, quality, safety and costs. The Operations Manager/Director will ensure strict compliance with the Quality Management System (ISO9001), Health & Safety Management Systems (ISO18001) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO14001) and relevant certifications in all sites.

To be considered for this role you must be degree educated with significant experience in a similar role. Based in the HQ of the organisation you will run the flagship site and promote innovation & continuous improvement that will lead the way across manufacturing & production.
