As market leading, global manufacturer is looking to add a Plant Manager to their Chippenham operation. With great access routes from the M4, a commute can be achievable from Gloucestershire, Bristol, Wiltshire and North Somerset. Being a market leader within printed screens; you’ll be working with a multitude of customers and ensuring the up-most quality of goods are provided.
Your new role
As the Plant Manager; you’ll be reporting into the National Operations Manager with a dotted reporting line to the European Managing Director. You will take control of day-to-day responsibility for the site. You will be expected to drive the quality of product whilst not reducing the current OEE. The only on-site function you will not take responsibility for will be the sales team.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for this Plant Manager vacancy; you must have worked within a Plant Manager, General Manager or an Operations Manager level position previously. you must have gained the experience of multi-function management due to your requirements across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and the Office based roles. You must have worked within the Printed industry, it would be highly beneficial for your experience to have come from the Printed Screen industry.
What you’ll get in return
As the Plant Manager, you’ll be paid an annual salary of up to £63,000 dependant upon your experience. In addition to this, you’ll be entitled to 25 days of annual leave and a bonus scheme which is payable upon both personal and company performances.
