Your new company
A leading manufacturing company, based in Tewkesbury are looking to add an experienced Plant Manager to their site due to continued growth. With great access routes from the M5; the right applicant would be able to easily commute from Worcester, Swindon, Gloucester, Bristol, Hereford and everywhere between.
Your new role
The Plant Manager will be managing a team of 5 with an indirect reporting structure totalling over 100 people. You will be the focal point for all manufacturing activities and will be expected to drive a Lean culture, reduce defects and continue to work towards a TPM. You will report into the Site Director and you’ll take respectability in their absence as their deputy. With talent in such high demand; you will be managed upon your retention of staff and up-skilling of your succession plan.
What you’ll need to succeed
You must have managed a large team; in excess of 100 indirect reports and have a strong understanding of Lean / Six Sigma principals to be considered for this vacancy. Ideally you’ll come from an injection moulding background however this will not be crucial to your application. It would also be highly beneficial to have a strong understanding of ISO:9001 and ISO:14001 as you look to secure your new role at the Plant Manager.
What you’ll get in return
As the Plant Manager; you’ll be paid an annual salary of up to £70,000 dependant upon your experience. In addition to this generous basic salary, you’ll also be entitled to a wide range of benefits including a bonus scheme; generous pension contributions and a flexible working pattern.
