Established for over 60 years my client has provided unique and innovative expertise in providing highly integrated, warehousing management, inbound to manufacturing, reverse and repair, export packing, aftermarket services, fulfilment services and transport.

They are seeking a Plant Manager to be responsible for the tactical day to day operational functions. This will be across the Operations, Health & Safety, Quality, HR, Finance, and IT functions and whilst also planning strategically and promoting continuous improvement. You must be able to demonstrate exceptional relationship/collaboration skills to ensure continuous growth whilst based on the customer’s site

You must have managerial experience at various levels (circa 300+ staffing) in the manufacturing / logistics sector. A background in the automotive industry is preferred. Job experience in an OEM or Tier 1 operation is beneficial. You must have proven experience operating within a complex large-scale customer facility managing demands of multiple sub departments. A Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree preferred.

As a proven people leader, you must have the capability to bring separate teams/departments/functions together in pursuit of common goals and strategies. Develop key people to ensure a robust and continuous succession plan. To communicate at all levels your strategies and focuses. Be open, candid and truthful.
