Working exclusively with Consilium Recruit a successful division of a global organisation supplying precision components to the aerospace, defence & energy sectors has a new vacancy for a Plant Manager. Joining the company at a time of growth and investment you will be tasked with improving efficiency, process improvement, organisational development and candidates are sought with previous experience working in precision machining.
The Role
Part of Europe‘s senior management team you will have full P&L responsibility for the plant and will be responsible for operational functions ensuring targets are achieved, customer order fulfilled and operational excellence.
You will develop and coach an operational team that responds to new challenges with positivity, embraces change and ensures customer satisfaction are achieved and surpassed.
You will drive a culture of continuous improvement through the utilisation of Lean Manufacturing tools to create a culture of never-ending improvement in safety, productivity, quality, cost and delivery.
The Candidate
Candidates are sought with a proven track record at Plant Management level (or Operations Director) with a demonstrable track record of achieving results & managing change. Committed to business improvement and growth you will be capable of managing, developing and implementing strategy for manufacturing operations to meet agreed performance plans within agreed budgets.
With an emphasis on organisation development & continuous improvement you must have a good understanding of CNC machining processes and have preferably have worked in the aerospace and/or defence sectors.
