The Client & Role
This Automotive Tier 1 manufacturing business has seen impressive growth over the last 5yrs – turnover £35-40m – 200 plus employees – plastic injection moulding. They are now looking for an experienced Plant Manager to drive the business forward operationally and culturally-change management. This is a fast paced, multiple process, capital intensive and assembly manufacturing environment.
The Candidate
We are looking for individuals who have full Plant management experience, proven operations backgrounds with strong leadership qualities.
To be considered you need to be able demonstrate the following:
• Previous experience of running a sizeable operations and assembly environment – 100 plus headcount £20m t/o businesses.
• Experience of plastic Injection moulding desirable.
• Previous experience of change management-cultural transformation.
• Previous experience of working in a fast paced, automotive environment advantageous.
• A confident leader with high levels of emotional intelligence.
• Resilience – this is a tough environment, high rewards but a real challenge. It won’t be for everyone but those who thrive on this sort of challenge will understand the grit needed to lead a business of this size and show the ability to adapt and be agile.
