Your new role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key duties-
Overall performance of the Procurement department
Delivery of group procurement strategy and objectives
Management and development of supplier relations and performance
Develop effective negotiation strategies
Maintain a database of Contracts and Agreements
Work closely with the Projects department to develop early strategies on Capital investments.
Build and develop productive stakeholder relationships demonstrating Procurement benefits and value
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have a demonstrable background of successful procurement delivery and achievement in a commercial environment, experience within manufacturing / engineering is beneficial. At interview you will be able to demonstrate strong business acumen, excellent communication skills and good IT / systems capabilities. CIPS qualified or part qualified is beneficial. This role will suit an experienced Procurement Manager seeking a new career challenge or a Buyer / Senior Buyer looking for the next stage of career development.
