The Role
As the Procurement Manager you will need to work collaboratively with senior managers to ensure they achieve production targets, through the supply of appropriate ingredients and materials, in order to satisfy customer requirements, and achieve strategic objectives.

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for sourcing specific ingredients to meet individual customer requirements, as well as continually reviewing our existing supply chain and products. You will communicate with management on supply issues, and place products on hold as necessary.

The Person
The ideal candidate for the role of Procurement Manager will need to be enthusiastic, reliable, and self-motivated. You will need to maintain high standards, be adaptable, and with the ability to prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines. You will be confident in liaising with various managers across the business to ensure the smooth running of the procurement function which supports our production operations.

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, and you must have the ability to negotiate and communicate professionally and confidently, establishing effective working relationships with new and existing suppliers. You will have good financial, mathematical, IT, and data processing skills.

To carry out the duties of Procurement Manager you will need to be experienced in sourcing food products and ingredients at competitive prices. You will need to have an understanding of stock control, planning, and food production operations.
