Manufacturing and Supply Chain specialist is seeking an Interim Procurement Manager for a period of minimum six months to lead and drive best practice within a multi-disciplinary procurement team including Buyers and Category Specialists. The role is available for Hybrid Working pattern on a day‘s basis.
You will drive best practice and effective management of the procurement team ensuring that the desired purchasing and procurement outcomes are met and the most suitable opportunities are being created for the business within the purchasing team. The Interim Procurement Manager will support the team, guide the team and set the procurement strategy.
The Interim Procurement Manager will be responsible for the overall spend within the purchasing team, coordinating supplier level agreements, supplier analysis and qualification and troubleshoot any supplier issues pertaining for procurement and supply chain.
The ideal candidate will possess proven procurement and purchasing experience within heavy industry such as manufacturing or rail sector and be able to lead and manage a full purchasing team. You will be conversant with managing complex supplier arrangements, best practice and responsible procurement strategies and assessing and considering new supplier arrangements.
The role is available as either a fixed term contract position for a defined period or a contract format defined as inside IR35. You will work on a day basis Monday to Friday with some flexibility to work from home within the working week.
