Hays Manufacturing Operations are working in partnership with a Top NI manufacturing company to recruit a Value Stream Manager. Your new role
As Production Value Stream Manager you will be accountable for, effective leadership and management of multi-disciplinary teams. Implementing Company Lean initiatives and Continuous Improvement efforts and ensuring a safe working environment and maximising cost reduction opportunities. You will drive quality improvements and develop a technically qualified workforce while reducing operating costs. You will oversee day-to-day activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly key performance indicators.
With the role you will also address key metrics to Annual Operating Plan and appropriate financial forecasts and reduce waste across all metrics. You will support the Area Coaches I/II and Zone Captains while partnering with appropriate functions to ensure customer deliverables and expectations are being met.
What you’ll need to succeed
The Value Stream Manager will have broad responsibility and leadership for overall operation of the Value Stream and will support continuous improvement projects.
We are looking for a dynamic, proactive individual who is willing to use their knowledge and leadership skills to enhance the existing team. You must be innovative, demonstrate presence, engage others with a drive for results.
You will have experience of effectively leading teams ideally in a Manufacturing environment and strong practical ability in the use of problem solving tools / lean Manufacturing processes and have experience of effective People Management and performance, Daily Resource Planning and strong relevant systems knowledge
