A British Engineering Company supplying automotive components to some of the most prestigious brands in vehicle manufacturing are seeking an experienced Production Manager. You will be required to oversee the assembly side of manufacturing operations and you will have experience in automotive manufacturing and production management.
The Role
Overseeing the Assembly are of the manufacturing process in a fast paced Tier 1 automotive environment, ensuring a safe and efficient environment contributing to continuous improvement activities, effective team management, quality and cost controls, production targets are achieved, managing a team of sixty and three supervisors. Liaising with the maintenance teams to ensure maximum availability of the line as well as conducting performance and development reviews with staff.
The Person
With a relevant manufacturing or engineering related higher level qualification such as a degree, HND or equivalent with experience in automotive manufacturing management, able to build strong working relationships with strong man management skills.
