Your new role
This is a new role within the business and you will be responsible for a team of operatives executing standard processes to complete production plans safely, to defined quality standards and manage day to day operations. You will have ownership of the manufacturing process from order receipt, through the production flow and into finished goods. The role requires a degree of visibility in the supervising for compliance and manage team performance/outputs. You will work in strong collaboration with key stakeholders and their own team to ensure that everyone is working to positively influence the collective site culture and drive continuous improvement.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will require a working knowledge of 5s or 6s with ideally six sigma. An in-depth understanding of metal pressing would be desirable. Effective leadership skills, able to work together with plant staff and management. Ability to conduct root cause analysis. Confident and comfortable presenting to a team. The ability to take ownership of a situation and act autonomously.
What you’ll get in return
