We are exclusively partnering with a leading manufacturing company based in County Louth to appoint highly motivated and experienced Production Manager.
Your new role
As the Production Manager you will report to the Operations Director, and will be responsible for the day to day management of operations including planning raw material and packaging demand, warehousing and stock control, meeting the production plan, maximising efficiency of production while maintaining a safe working environment for all staff and ensuring that finished products meet the Company’s quality criteria in line with customer demand.
You will liaise closely with the Planning & Procurement team to ensure that production plans are optimal and achievable whilst ensuring customer orders are fulfilled OTIF.
Review plans prior to production to ensure proper forward ordering is in place to meet production requirements in a timely fashion and lead and develop a team of Section Supervisors to drive both individual and departmental performance.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be a seasoned and experienced Production Manager with a strong planning background and sufficient gravitas to be a member of the site management team who has managed similar production & site operations
A strong leader, with the confidence to be autonomous in a fast paced senior role
Experienced gained from a FMCG environment
Vast experience of continuous improvement in a Production environment
Proven people management skills
Previous success in producing results in multi-functional teams
Able to deal effectively with challenging situations
Commercially astute
Knowledge of H&S requirements in a Production environment
Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office
