Job Description
The Production Manager will have full responsibility for a 24/7 continuous manufacturing process. You will be an excellent people manager capable of developing, mentoring and coaching staff to ensure they have the skills and motivation to perform all duties to the highest of standards.

As a results orientated individual, the Production Manager will lead operational excellence to ensure the manufacturing team exceed all key targets of output, yield, quality and Health and Safety. You will be an advocate of continuous improvement, using data as the foundation to solutions that positively impact product cost and quality. The Production Manager will devise robust production plans making sure that all materials are available to meet business needs. Lenzing’s manufacturing process involves advanced engineering equipment and you will work closely with the Engineering teams to find both day to day and long-term project solutions that deliver maximum equipment availability and reliability.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Production Management within a Chemical or complex process manufacturing environment. The Production Manager will have a passion for leading people through efficient manufacturing processes, capable of demonstrating continuous improvement and change leadership. The Production Manager will be degree qualified, ideally in an Engineering or Scientific discipline and preferably hold formal six-sigma or equivalent lean qualifications.
