Your new company is a food manufacturer in the Belfast area who have been operating for over 40 years. The company prides itself on their dedication to quality, earning a Grade ‘AA’ in BRC approval, making them one of the most reputable companies in the market.
Your new role
You will be recruited as a Production Manager and will be responsible for all day to day running of production and performance improvement in line with food health and safety legislation. You will effectively manage and train all operational staff on site, assist with BRC audits, be involved in lean management and take responsibility for stock control. The role is a day shift position Monday to Friday with a certain degree of flexibility required.
What you’ll need to succeed
The successful candidate will ideally have 3 years’ previous management/ operations experience in a food production factory with understanding of health and safety employment legislation and experience managing supervisors and operational staff. You should also have BRC audit experience and hold a 3rd level qualification in Business, Operation Management or similar. You should also have experience with cost control, change management and have a high attention to detail with excellent IT skills, namely being proficient in Microsoft packages.
