Job Description
This position is for a Production Manager to the department, overseeing all production activities within a leading Industrial/Manufacturing firm based in Macclesfield:
• Manage and oversee all production activities within the assembly department.
• Maintain a clear understanding of the company’s strategic objectives.
• Monitor productivity and implement strategies to improve efficiency.
• Ensure all production activities align with health and safety regulations.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop and manage the production budget.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the production team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Production Manager should have:
• A proven track record as a production manager in an industrial or FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing a production team in an assembly environment or similar process.
• Knowledge of electrical assembly processes would be helpful but not essential
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations
• People development and the ability to up-skill your workforce is essential.
