Due to the success of ongoing programmes one of the Europe‘s leading research organisations has a new vacancy for a Programme Director to join the organisation. Candidates are sought with a proven track record of delivering complex, high technology projects and applications are sought with a broad understanding of Digital engineering.
The Role
Identify and deliver PLM roadmap through concept and into delivery phase
Deliver initial digital simulation toolset to support engineering activity
Be the guiding mind in developing the digital landscape to support the programme
Lead and drive the technical delivery within the digital
Set the development strategy for the digital domain within, including a view of potential benefit to wider authority.
Coordinate specialist expertise across a range of technologies and systems choices
Manage the Digital Capability Development Team, including matrixed resource
Actively promote and embed a culture of openness, trust, honesty and transparency
Apply and promote agile methodology and practice within the digital space.
Ensure projects are kept to time, cost and quality.
Partner with technical experts and specialists (internal/external) to deliver programme success
Attend, present progress and/or chair technical review committees and project boards, as appropriate
Actively contribute to organisation wide transformation projects
The Candidate
A strong proven track record of delivering complex, high technology projects to quality, time and budget
A broad understanding of Digital engineering
An advanced degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline
Strategic and innovative thinker
An understanding of modern project management tools and methodology
