A manufacturer of advanced technology, engineered capital equipment is looking for a commercially astute Project Manager to manage all the projects running through the business.
This role will have a cradle to grave responsibility for projects ranging in value from £100k to £1million and will manage multiple projects across the globe concurrently.
The core focus of this role is the customer interface to ensure that milestones and/or issues or delays are communicated clearly to the customer. The role will also see you involved with all internal functions, working with design teams, procurement and production to move the various cycles of the project on to ensure on time delivery within budget.
The successful candidate is likely to have a recognised Project Management qualification and will have a good engineering background to understand the underlying principles of what the company does. Having a sound contractual understanding will also be beneficial.
The business has experienced year on year growth and are forecast to show more growth both in the number of projects but also the value projects and it is therefore expected that the Project function will grow over the coming years.
